Why is John Terry the man of the match for the game against Ecuador?! I really don't understand. In my opinion, he did not play well. It should have given to Gerrard!!! He was the best player out of all last night!!
It was another boring match, Lampard kept missing many chances. I wonder if he will get any goal in this World Cup. Oh, David Beckham scored the only goal through his trademark freekick. I didn't know that it was a goal at first cos it didn't look like it is, when I heard the cheers then I realised. My er jie was simply crazy, kept saying "Beckham is so good!", "Beckham is so handsome!". Dotz.. She was noisier than me last night! When I came home today, she asked me who was the man of the match. When I said it's Terry who she didn't know, she asked "Why isn't it Beckham?". Just because he scored that goal doesn't mean that he should get that. He didn't play well too. It should be Gerrard!!!!!!! Arh.. I am crazy.
I love putting up pictures, and I don't know why. Anyway, they will be meeting Portugal in the quarter-finals. Yucks!
I read a report that said Beckham and Gerrard had an argument during their training before this match. Because Gerrard thought that Beckham should stop playing too many long balls, that made their game too predictable for other teams. Apparently, Eriksson listened to Stevie G's advice. Haha.
I am going to watch Italy vs Australia tonight. Hopefully, Harry Kewell will be fit to play.
