I am still very sad that Michael Owen was injured during the match against Sweden. He accidentally twisted his knee on the 1st min! As if it wasn't bad enough, he will be sidelined for at least FIVE months! Haiz... I'm very very upset. I was so looking forward to Owen's and Rooney's partnership upfront, but it all shattered after just one minute. I read a report on the paper yesterday that said Owen may not be able to play anymore! And even if he recovered, he won't be like the same player. Tell me why?! Had been seeing my gang for these past two days. Me, serene, edwin and zieg went to play boardgames on friday afternoon. It was so fun! Followed by a movie, Silent Hill. Basically, it was crap. I didn't understand the plot of the story. Then on saturday, me and serene were supposed to go to ade's church but we didn't. Only the guys went. I felt guilty, guess serene does too. Anyway, both of us met for dinner then walked to tampines mall to buy tickets for Scary Movie 4. Benji and Gary joined us this time. Tonight, England vs Ecuador.. C'mon England! Win this for Owen!!!
Anyway, I woke up at 2.30am to catch that match. I risked my 'life' again. I didn't switch on the fan as it was a little bit noisy and I didn't want anyone to know that I was up to watch football. Ade sort of 'watched' it with me. She read reports from the net while I watched it on the telly. As I was on the phone with her, Owen injured himself.
He was stretchered off...... Sad
Stevie came on as a sub for Rooney at 69th min and then he scored a goal on the 85th min! It was almost certain that they were going to win that match before Larsson scored another equalising goal for Sweden. Anyway, Rooney wasn't happy after he was replaced. He took off his boots and slammed it on the ground with a black face. I felt like slapping him, man! So the final result was 2-2. England is meeting Ecuador tonight! While Sweden lost to Germany last night.

The movie was funny. Very funny! Especially the part where Cindy talked to the Ju-On kid in 'Japanese language'! They were saying all the japanese brands and food names like toyota, mitsubishi, sushi and so on. It was just like a conversation which mean something! It was hilarious!
We thought of watching Germany vs Sweden at Mcdonald's together, but we only reached there at around 11.30 and so, there was no places left for us to sit, and Germany was already leading 2-0 so we decided to head home. Wow.. haven't had so much fun with my gang in a long time. We shall hang out again real soon!
